Why are bamboo towels better than cotton?
Bamboo fibre is naturally 3× more absorbent than cotton and dries faster, so the towel stays fresher between washes. It's also softer on skin, naturally antibacterial, and much lighter — meaning less bulk in your bathroom and your luggage.

Embroidery
Can I get a name embroidered on my towel?
Yes — personalised name embroidery is our signature service and one of the things that makes Madake unique in India. You choose the name, and we digitise and stitch it directly onto the towel. Embroidery is available at checkout for an additional charge.
How do I choose the font and colour for embroidery?
After selecting personalization on the product page, you'll be able to specify your preferred name, font, and thread colour options. You can select optional emojis as well (additional cost may apply). You can also browse our embroidery style guide on the website to see all available fonts and colour swatches before ordering.
Can embroidered orders be returned or exchanged?
Personalised and embroidered items are non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error on our part. We encourage you to double-check spelling at checkout before placing your order.
Orders & Shipping
How long does delivery take?
Standard orders are dispatched within 2–3 business days. Embroidered orders may take an additional 2–3 days for personalisation. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships. Orders are usually delivered within 5 to 7 days after shipping the order. Delivery time may be affected by holidays and weather conditions.
Do you ship across India?
Yes, we ship pan-India. We also ship internationally — shipping rates and estimated delivery times for international orders may take longer, depending on the country you are in.
What comes with the packaging — I heard it's special?

Care and wash instructions
How should I wash my bamboo towel?
We recommend hand washing when possible, but if you prefer the washing machine, just use a gentle cycle with cold or warm water (up to 40°C). Stick to a mild liquid detergent and skip the fabric softener—softeners actually coat the natural fibers and make the towel less absorbent over time. Finally, just tumble dry on low or hang it out to dry in the shade.
Will the embroidery fade after washing?
Our embroidery is done with high-quality thread designed to hold colour through repeated washes. Following the care instructions will keep both the towel and the embroidery looking their best for years.
